Corekatalyst’s TOS

violating the terms of service may result in a blacklisting

General Guidelines

  • CoreKatalyst reserves the right to deny any commission for any reason without explanation.

  • Payment in USD will only be accepted through PayPal’s “goods and service” option. Do not sent through friends and family, as it is generally unsafe for the commissioner and violates PayPal’s TOS.

  • I typically accept payment after the work has been completed, if you are unable to pay after ordering please let me know at the earliest point you can.

  • Work in progress updates can be given at the commissioners request.

  • The general timeframe for a commission fluctuates depending on how intensive it is and my work schedule.

  • I will not change finished art or designs excessively. That doesn’t mean if I have missed a detail or something else is wrong with it that is my fault I won’t fix it. (IE: I forgot to add something you had mentioned, I misinterpreted something, etc). I will do my best to make a piece you love, do not be afraid to reach out with concerns or changes- I just can’t completely redo the entire piece after it is done.

  • Commissioners may request large or small changes during the sketch/thumbnailing phases, including asking it to be redone in a different pose/layout.

  • Commissioned art is for personal use only unless discussed. It can be reposted with credit to places like toyhouse, etc,... Commercial use of my art (Including use for promotional material, selling as stickers or shirts, etc) will have extra fees involved.

  • Clients are not permitted under any circumstances to use any part of their commissioned artwork for the creation of non fungible tokens (NFTs).

  • Clients are not permitted to claim any commissioned artwork or designs as having been made by them.

  • Reposting commissioned artwork or designs by the client who owns the design/art is allowed, with credit.

  • Clients are not permitted to edit any commissioned piece. This includes, but are not limited to; removing my watermark, editing designs (you may change the design however you like with your own artwork, however!), doing “paint overs”, etc. Adding filters and cropping the art are exempt from this. If you are unsure, just ask!

  • These rules are subject to amendments.

Things I won’t do

I will not draw:

  • Hate art or any depiction of a hate symbol, reclaimed or otherwise

  • Appropriated native folklore/designs

  • Mecha/complex machinery

  • Fetish material

  • NSFW art

  • Characters you do not yourself own.

Things I will do

  • Gore, both heavy and light, though I may be unable to do very specific types of injuries.

  • Most any form of horror (IE: body horror, insect/parasite horror, medical horror,..)

  • Most any specifically phobia triggering material (IE: spiders, clowns, holes etc.)

  • Couple / group pictures

  • Slightly suggestive art

  • Just ask if you’re unsure!

Designs + Adopts

  • Custom designs can be made from moodboards, photo references, general descriptions, or be up to full artistic liberty.

  • Commissioning redesigns of existing characters designed by the client or myself are always welcome. Redesigns of characters made by orhers will only be done with written permission from the original artist.

  • Any design a client has received from me may be edited or changed as much as the client likes, and reselling or trading said design is of course allowed.

  • I will not do custom designs of species from existing, trademarked properties such as Pokémon. I will however do fusion designs of such properties if requested. This does not include making a design inspired by or existing within said property, this includes only things that may directly infringe on copyright laws (especially for Nintendo).
